The three-year Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate Communication and Public Relations enables students to become professionals in the management of the mechanisms governing communication in public and private organizations. At the end of the three years, students will be able to harness the new tools of corporate communication ranging from traditional advertising to Web 2.0 tools, and social networks. This degree provides countless work opportunities in marketing, external relations, advertising and public relations, as well as press offices, or event management.

The Master’s degree program in Marketing, Consumer Behaviour and Communication offers two curricula: one in Italian and a new curriculum in English. The Italian track is divided into three specializations: Brand Management, Digital Marketing Management, and Retail Management. While the English track, features a single specialization designed for young branding and marketing professionals aiming for international markets. This course will provide the necessary skills to work in the fields of marketing and brand communication. Graduates can pursue careers as marketing managers, brand and product managers, CRM managers, responsible for online and offline sales networks of industrial and commercial enterprises, managers in digital marketing, or analysts in consulting firms. Keeping pace with market evolution, the program equips students with the tools to understand current scenarios and develop a future-oriented vision focused on innovation.

A Master’s degree program, entirely taught in English, designed to train professionals for managerial roles in corporate communication departments, within international PR firms or communication agencies. The curriculum combines technical-specialist teachings and content aimed at developing cross-disciplinary skills, including classes with a strong practical and project-based approach. The program is supported by an Advisory Board comprising executives from leading companies and agencies in the market and allows students to obtain a Dual Degree from Huddersfield University (UK), Cardiff Metropolitan University (UK), and UWA University (Perth, Australia). After a common first year, students can choose between two specializations: one in Corporate and Marketing, and the other in Sustainability. At the end of the second year, students can decide whether to study at one of the 18 partner universities or begin a professional career in diverse sectors such as fashion, pharmaceuticals, banking, or consumer goods.

The two-year Master’s degree program, taught in English, in Fashion Communication and Luxury Strategies is designed with a genuine international vocation and offers highly specialized training to fully understand the dynamics of communication in the global fashion and luxury industry. The curriculum includes two main areas of study: Global Trends and Luxury Strategies. Through a multidisciplinary approach and hands-on activities, it fosters flexibility and the ability to learn in a self-directed and autonomous manner. The program places significant emphasis on digital communication and lateral thinking development. Developed in collaboration with businesses to meet the skills demanded by the current market, the Fashion Communication and Luxury Strategies course is aimed at outstanding graduates aspiring to work in international contexts, holding positions of responsibility such as, but not limited to, PR Manager, Digital Media Manager, Event Manager, Brand Heritage Curator, Fashion Trend Forecaster, or those interested in conceiving and managing new entrepreneurial ventures.

IULM’s two-year master’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management is a perfect match for graduates who want to take on entrepreneurial and managerial positions in the tourism and service industry. The second year allows the student​s​ to continue their studies at IULM University (curricula in “New Technologies and Data for Tourism” and “Creative Industries or Sustainable Destinations Management and Communication”) or they can choose the specialization programme, in the United States (curriculum in Hospitality and Tourism Management), gaining a dual degree, both Italian and American (M.Sc.). The course is in partnership with the University of Central Florida. All students choosing to attend the University of Central Florida will be granted a 10,000$ scholarship as well as a one-year visa allowing to stay in the United States for a further work experience.

IULM Communication School offers several one-year Master’s Degree programmes, specialised and executive master’s courses for graduates and professionals who want to specialize within a specific facet of communication. The following programmes are taught in English: International Tourism and Hospitality (MITH); Museology, New Media and Museum Communication (executive education); International Marketing & Sales Communication (executive education).

FAQ

Yes, there are several financial aid opportunities for international students ranging from tuition reductions, scholarship opportunities and reserved seats in our residence dorms. Further information can be found at this link 

Generally during the month of November. International students can submit their application via apply.iulm.it

3-year Bachelors and 2-year Masters are always starting at the end of September, therefore, for those programmes, we offer only one yearly intake.

We advise all applicants to apply as soon as possible if they are interested in our courses. All courses have a limited number of places and therefore, the sooner you apply the better your chances are to enter. The latest deadline for non-EU citizens is March, 2025.

The answer is no. In this case, tuition fees depend on the family income. No matter what the citizenship is, if the family’s income is produced abroad, you will be considered an international student and tuition fees are equal to 8,556 Euros per academic year for Bachelor’s and 9956 Euros for 2-year Master’s. Remember that you can apply for several financial aid opportunities.
